A privacy programme becomes difficult to run when its important context is split across spreadsheets, shared drives, email threads and one person's memory. A record may exist, but the decision, the evidence and the person responsible for it are often somewhere else.

Nigeria's data protection regime has raised the stakes for getting that work right. Klari is built for the Data Protection Officer responsible for making the programme understandable and reviewable inside a real organisation—not for producing a superficial compliance badge.

Klari starts with the operating work around the Nigeria Data Protection Act: structured RoPAs, guided DPIAs, evidence, activity history and regulator-facing outputs. An organisation can establish its profile and DPO information, bring the right people into the workspace, carry out the work and retain the thread between a decision and the material that supports it.

The goal is not to tell a customer that it is compliant. The goal is to make the work behind that judgement clearer: what the organisation knows, what it has decided, who approved it and what it can show when asked.

Klari is pre-general-availability and is looking for its first design partners. We build with privacy teams using the product in earnest, so the roadmap is informed by the moments that matter in a real programme rather than a generic feature checklist.

We aim to be unusually clear about the current product and company position. That means explaining what is in place, what is still being prepared, and where a customer needs its own DPO, licensed DPCO or legal adviser. The public Security page and Trust Centre are part of that commitment.

Klari Technologies Limited is the customer-facing Nigerian entity: Naira billing, CAC registration and the registered office are in Lagos. All customer trade and contracting sit inside the Nigerian entity.

Corporate structure is not a data-residency claim. Core tenant records are hosted in Frankfurt, Germany; the current processing locations, suppliers and cross-border position are set out on our Security page.

Klari is a founder-led product company with retained data protection advisers. The founder builds the product and works with prospective customers; advisers review material regulatory claims and customer-facing legal documents as the business prepares to contract.

We show the Institute of Information Management's Certified Data Protection Officer credential (IIM-CDPO) against an adviser only once we have verified that certificate against the NDPC register at cdpo.ndpc.gov.ng. If it is absent below, we have not finished checking it.

Klari is not a law firm, is not a licensed Data Protection Compliance Organisation and does not act as any customer's Data Protection Officer. The product helps a customer organise its own work; its DPO, licensed DPCO and legal adviser remain responsible for their professional judgement and filing route.
